Women's Support Group

 We currently run 3 support groups for women  in Armley, Burley and Chapeltown, 2 of the groups have creche facilities for children aged 6 months and above. Women who attend these groups will have support from our workers as well as from other women in similar situation already attending the group. Women learn about the dynamics of domestic violence and how to increase their personal safety.

Whilst using this service women may also be referred into our other services or to other agencies if necessary. Referral for the groups can be made by phoning 011 3 246 0401 either by the woman herself or any agency working with the woman. 

Our staff will contact  a potential service user before  she attends the group,  this is to introduce herself and to give her details relating to our support groups such as times and location of the support group before the woman's first visit. If the woman requires creche facilities then this will also be arranged.

Group session times:       Tuesdays           10 a.m.  -  12 p.m.

                                                Wednesdays    5.30  -  7.30  p.m.

                                                Fridays               10 a.m.  -  12 p.m.
