Children's Support ServiceWe have children's workers who can offer children individual and group support as well as lots of opportunities to play and have fun. They help to get children into local schools (we usually recommend changing schools for safety reasons) and nurseries. The children's workers also offer parenting advice and guidance. If you are a child or a young person visiting this site because you are worried about your mum please click the picture below We have specialist facilities for 11-16 year olds in the "Youth Zone" and are in the process of setting up a Youth Council within Leeds Women's Aid. This service is primarily for children and young people living in our refuges, we also do outreach work with children who are currently living with domestic violence. Young Person's Outreach Support Service Leeds women's Aid offers support for young people aged 11-16 who have been or is currently affected by domestic violence, this could be domestic violence in the home, family or in their own relationship.
